I'm posting savings for the weekend.  I hope you had a blessed week and that you are ready for the weekend.  I know all the Dads are, so, let's get to it.

Don" forget my post earlier this week from Sears...buy $50.00 worth of men's ware and get an awards card for $25.00.  You can combine this with the great sale they have going on and get big while saving big.  Hurry before the are gone.

Saving Tips
If you typically buy a $5 pack of eight single-use batteries every month, buying 12 rechargeable batteries and a charger will save you $600 over ten years.

White will  Vinegar Remove Sweat Odors

I have always used white vinegar to get smells out of laundered clothing. I use about a cup, just added to the wash load, with the soap;Vinegar is very inexpensive and has literally thousands of used. For more uses see my past post for 74 Little Known Uses For Vinegar



Old Navy: Tank Tops for $2 on June 25th!


There is a One Day Wonder Sale going on at Old Navy on June 25th. You can get $2 tank tops for women and girls, with a limit of 5. This is a great time to STOCK up on these! Customer Alert:  Target has a new coupon policy:

New changes to Target’s Coupon Policy 

1.BOGO coupons cannot be combined (i.e. you cannot use two BOGO coupons on two items and get both for free).

A second cents-off coupon of the same type cannot be redeemed towards the purchase price of the first item.
o If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon maybe used on the first item.
o If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item.

 Target is saying that you can not use a second manufacturer coupon when you are using a BOGO manufacturer coupon. You can use a second Target coupon though. So this means that scenarios like the one below will not be allowed (the coupons mentioned are just for illustration purposes, they are not actual coupons)

These are NOT allowed:

Buy two Gillette Body wash $3.99
Use one $2/1 Gillette Body wash coupon from 5/1 P&G insert
PLUS Use one BOGO Gillette Body wash coupon from 5/1 P&G insert

Citrus Cooler Recipe to cool you off on the hot days ahead.  Enjoy!

What You Need

1 env. KOOL-AID Sugar Free Lemonade Flavor Low Calorie Soft Drink Mix

2 cups  cold water

2 cups cold orange juice

1 bottle  (1 L) diet carbonated lemon-lime beverage, chilled

Make It

MIX all ingredients in plastic or glass pitcher.
SERVE immediately over ice.

Drink can be made ahead of time. Prepare as directed but do not add the carbonated beverage. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir in carbonated beverage, then serve over ice as directed.
