Important Information for Couponners!!! What is a "Buy Price List"?

A buy price list is used to get:
-The lowest price on the things you buy after the coupon value is taken off the price.
-To stockpile the things you use frequently
  -To save money

You stock up on your needs when the price is the lowest that the store sells them for.(The lowest sale price)
Store sales run in cycles of 6-8 weeks.  Your strategy is to buy what you will need for the next 8-10 weeks.
Example is- the crackers you buy are on sale for .59 the lowest price, you should buy 10 boxes for your stock pile supply.

My fellow blogger over at Southernsavers.com has compiled a list and a blank for you to fill in your own buy price list.
Visit her site and follow the instructions.

My Favorite Magazine

My favorite magazine "All You" the magazine that pays for itself with coupons in every issue, every month, arrived today.  I am so excited!

Loving this issue! There are $77.46 worth of coupons in this issue.
There is a coupon for $10.00 off the purchase of $25.00 or more at Catherine's.
$10.00 off the purchase of $25.00 or more at Fashion Bug.
$2.00 of the purchase of MiraLax. Yes, sometime we all need a little MiraLax.
$2.00 off  Nivea Body Wash for you and $2.00 off  Nivea Body Wash for your sweetie.

Coupons for Pedigree products for your dog, as much as $2.00 off each product.
$1.00 off Scott toilet paper and Scott paper towel.

There is a coupon for my favorite frozen rolls, Sister Schubert's rolls.  The coupon is for .50 but you know if you purchase your rolls at Kroger or Meijers that coupon doubles to $1.00, so you save 1.00 off.  How great is that.

You can only purchase "All You" at Walmart at the check-out counter.  It  will only cost you.$2.24 and look how much you can save. What a deal!

Now if that's not enough to get your attention and encourage you to get your copy; check out all the money saving articles in this issue. One article is called "Eat Healthy on a Tight Budget" which has five easy meals and a shopping list.
An excellent article for your health, called "Fight back against spring allergies."  This article gives you tips to defend yourself against sprnig allergies. Did you know sunglasses can keep pollen from getting in your eyes?

Try it for a month and let me know how much money you save.
Your coupons up to .50 double and those.50 and above are $1.00 at Kroger and Meijers.

"Giving from a generous heart"

Luke 6:38
"Whatever measure you use in giving-large or small-it will be used to measure what is given back to you."

Giving from a generous heart will reap a harvest of untold proportions. On the out side giving seems to be sharing of the things we own, our money our wealth and the like.  I think more important than just giving things is  giving of our selves, things that money cannot buy.  The free things, our time, our love, a word of exhortation, a word of encouragement, our prayers, a visit when some one is sick or just sad.  These things-priceless!

"All You...Enjoying Life for Less"

Today starts my new Thursdays only post.  I'm calling it "Things I've learned....reading magazines"
Confession, "I am a magazine junkie." There I've said it!  I must admit, not only do I read the magazines over and over, but some of them I keep for years even decades.  When I retire, my goals is to put the articles I love in a file system for my girls.

Over the years I have learned a wealth of knowledge and information about cooking, saving, travel and how to do things reading magazines.

My all time favorite magazine right now is  "All You"  Enjoying Life for Less.  It fullfills all my expectations for the kind of information I look for in a magazine geared to women:
1.It is inexpensive. $2.24 an issue
2.The articles are consise with beautiful picture illustrations.
3.It is full of information that I can and will use. re: economy/saving money-low budget meals-fashion-housekeeping and much, much more
4.There are always exclusive coupons in the magazine; sometimes more than $100.00 worth in one issue.

There is also a great website allyou.com that supports the magazine.

"Al l You" can only be purchased at Wal Mart.  If you go to the website and click coupons and deals, there is a printable coupon for .50 which brings your cost to $1.74 for your February issue.  There is also an offer on the site for two (2) free trial issues.  I also noticed a box on the top right of the screen called Get Today's sweet find.  It is a free granola bar from Starbucks.

Question, did you know there is a Starbucks in Jungle Jim's?  Well, there is. I love that place.

Ok, back to the subject.  If you scroll down a little there is a BOGO( coupon language for buy one get one free) sub from Subway.  Take a friend to lunch, just saying! (smile).

Check out "All You" while you are in the check-out lane at WalMart.  Write a comment on this post and let me know what you think.
